Day 1: We arrive at our centrally located hotel early afternoon with plenty of time to enjoy this wonderful city full of festive cheer. Perhaps visit Cabot Circus, a vibrant shopping centre in the heart of the city or maybe explore the maze of quirky stalls and marvel at the historic architecture at St Nicolas Market, the oldest and best loved market in Bristol.
Day 2: This morning we travel to Gloucester. This delightful city, located between the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean, offers a unique blend of heritage and culture and is renowned for its charm and festivities during the Christmas season. There is something for everyone with stylish shopping from high street names and independent boutiques, to Christmas markets, designer brands and even an ice rink at Gloucester Quays. The stunning 11th century cathedral, whose medieval cloisters were transformed into the hallways of Hogwarts in three Harry Potters films, is wonderful at any time of year and is beautifully astounding at Christmastime. We return to our hotel later this afternoon.
Day 3: Today enjoy a full day at leisure in Bath, an elegant city full of traditional heritage and truly magical at Christmas. With its renowned Christmas Market and compact visitor friendly centre over-flowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain it’s the perfect yuletide destination. Revel in the sights, smells and festive ambience at the award winning Bath Christmas Market and meander through the picturesque Georgian streets and experience over 150 stallholders in twinkling chalets, selling handmade, local and original gifts. Not forgetting the irresistible seasonal food, drinks and delicacies to entice you as you stroll around.
Day 4: Perhaps enjoy a little more Christmas shopping this morning or just switch off and watch the world go by at one of many delightful eateries before departing for home this afternoon.
