Cirque du Soleil, the world’s most renowned theatrical circus phenomenon, return to the Royal Albert Hall in January 2026 with OVO their most vibrant and energetic show to date.
In OVO, an awkward, quirky insect discovers a magnificent ladybug in a bustling neighbourhood, and they instantly fall in love. Their enchanting romance unfolds amidst a vibrant ecosystem, revealing a world filled with energy and life.
As a mysterious egg appears, curiosity and awe fill the community, representing the cycles of their lives. OVO showcases the beauty and chaos of the insect world, balancing moments of tenderness and excitement, and revealing the rich biodiversity at our feet. With a cast of 53 artists, to a soundtrack of lively, Brazilian themed music, insects work, eat, flutter, and play in a riot of motion. With each new day the cycle of insect life unfolds, filled with both contrast and harmony, showcasing the wonder and beauty of their hidden universe.
With its unforgettable, mesmerising aerobatics, surreal costume design, vibrant sets and playful humour, OVO unfolds a touching immersive experience filled with a joyous magical feeling – a quintessential Cirque du Soleil spectacle, guaranteed to delight all ages.
The performance is at 17:30 at the Royal Albert Hall. Before the show there will be free time in Kensington; maybe enjoy some retail therapy at Harrods, take in some culture at one of the many museums or sit back and relax at a host of bars and restaurants.
