Itinerary

Day 1: We make our way to Poole to join our ferry to Jersey. On our arrival there will be a coach waiting to transfer to our hotel.

Day 2: Today we enjoy a day at leisure. You may wish to explore St Helier where you can find sophisticated shops, fascinating museums, historic landmarks and a mouth-watering selection of restaurants. Alternatively, you may decide to have a day of relaxation and enjoy the facilities of your hotel.

Day 3: Today we embark on a full day guided tour of the island, visiting St Aubin’s Bay, St Brelade’s Bay, Corbière Lighthouse, St Ouen’s Bay, and Gorey Harbour. During our tour, we will visit the Neolithic passage grave at La Hougue Bie, home to one of the 10 oldest buildings in the world!

Day 4: This morning, we visit Hamptonne Country Life Museum, giving us a wonderful insight into a rural way of life in Jersey that has carried on for centuries. In the afternoon, we head to the Jersey War Tunnels, built during the German occupation of the island in WWII.  Discover a story you will never forget! The true story of life in Jersey during the German occupation, the hardship, the heartache and the heroism, in the words of the people that were there.

These intricate tunnels are over 1,000m long, the terrain is flat but appropriate footwear is essential.

Day 5: We relax at leisure this morning before enjoying a guided tour of La Mare Wine Estate in the afternoon. The tour is an immersive experience offering a behind-the-scenes exploration of the vineyard, winery and distillery. You will be able to savour the flavours of the vineyard’s red, white and rosé wines, as well as tasting their delectable Jersey Cream Liqueur; we finish off the tour with a delicious cream tea.  As well as wine, the Vineyard also produce gin, vodka, chocolate, jams and baked goods. The tour and tastings offer the visitor a truly unforgettable experience.

Day 6: Today is a free day. You may wish to book an optional excursion, relax and make the most of your hotel or enjoy some tax-free shopping for those last minute gifts.

Day 7: Another free day to make the most of this wonderful island.

Day 8: After breakfast, we will begin our journey home.
