Day 1: We will make our way to Newquay, making lunch and comfort stops along the way.
Day 2: Our excursion today takes us to the beautiful global garden known as the Eden Project. Explore massive covered Biomes to trek through the world’s largest indoor rainforest and immerse yourself in the calm fragrance of the Mediterranean Biome. Enjoy extensive Outdoor Gardens, contemporary artworks, performance and storytelling. Discover places to rest and eat, and pick up some inspiring ideas to take home on how to care for the planet that cares for you. After plenty of time to explore, we will make our way back to our hotel visiting Charlestown along the way. Charlestown is an amazingly pristine, unspoiled example of a late Georgian working port. To this day, the port remains unspoiled and retains much of its Georgian character. This unique combination has led to Charlestown being a popular location for film & television locations.
Day 3: Today you may choose to enjoy all Newquay has to offer; stroll along the coastal paths, browse the shops or visit the picturesque harbour. You may of course prefer to join us on our included excursion to Padstow with its colourful working harbour, Tintagel the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and Boscastle, a village set in a conservation area amongst some of the most beautiful countryside in the British Isles.
Day 4: This morning we make our way to Truro, Cornwall’s county town and only city. Here we have free time to enjoy a stroll exploring the town’s attractions, including the stunning Gothic Revival Cathedral. After lunch, we head to the amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan where we are welcomed with a garden introduction. With over 200 acres of garden paradise, we have time at leisure to explore the breathtaking surroundings, including the spectacular jungle!
Day 5: This morning, after breakfast, we must sadly say goodbye to this beautiful part of the country and begin our journey home.
