Reminisce over bygone years with a visit to The Weald and Downland Living Museum, a hidden gem set in the beautiful West Sussex countryside.

Discover and explore what life was really like for people living over a 1,000-year period.  The museum covers 40 acres, with over 50 historic buildings dating from 950AD to the 19th century, along with gardens, farm animals, walks and a mill pond.

You’ll see working exhibits that, through craft demonstrations, show how they would have operated hundreds of years ago – experience blacksmithing, milling, spinning, Tudor cooking and more.
