 We travel to France from Folkestone to Calais via LeShuttle and then make our way to Ghent.

Offering a perfect blend of medieval charm, vibrant energy and great food and drink this fascinating Flemish city is less touristy than Bruges but equally as appealing. With its winding canals, picture-perfect architecture and ornate buildings this friendly city is home to a thriving arts scene. The historic quays of Graslei and Korenlei in the heart of Ghent offer a bustling, pedestrian area filled with delicious restaurants and outdoor cafes – a perfect waterfront location to relax and savour the charm of this historic destination.

Dependent on traffic conditions on the day, we aim to have approximately 5 hours free time in Ghent.
