The village of St Valery Sur Somme is a popular tourist destination because of its medieval character and ramparts, Gothic church and long waterside boardwalk.

There will be free time to wander round St Valery Sur Somme and have lunch before you take a trip back in time aboard the Baie de Somme railway, a little local train dating from the late 19^th century, to le Crotoy.

The train runs alongside brooks lined with willows, past salt and freshwater marshes and fields, revealing the gorgeous greenery of the Somme Bay, and its authentic wilderness.

With a whistle of the guard, you travel 80 years back in time.
